By signing in via Steam OpenID or accessing the UPSHIFT platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and possess full legal capacity to enter into these binding terms. If you do not meet these criteria or reside in a jurisdiction where virtual item upgrades are prohibited, you must immediately cease using the platform.
Users authenticate exclusively via Steam OpenID 2.0. UPSHIFT never requests, handles, or stores your Steam password. All item deposits and withdrawals are processed strictly through official Steam Trade Offers. You are solely responsible for verifying the security of your Steam account and trade credentials.
All game outcomes are determined server-side using our published Provably Fair cryptographic algorithm (HMAC-SHA256). Winning and loss states are calculated authoritatively by the server. In the event of a successful upgrade, the selected target item is added to your platform inventory; in the event of an unsuccessful upgrade, the wagered input items are consumed per published platform rules.
UPSHIFT maintains an active automated fraud detection system. Any attempt to exploit system vulnerabilities, manipulate network requests, double-spend items, or perform unauthorized chargebacks will result in immediate account restriction, forfeiture of exploited assets, and notification to relevant payment and trading networks.
Skin withdrawals are subject to Steam’s standard trade restrictions, including Steam Guard 7-day trade holds where applicable. Items in “WITHDRAWAL_PENDING” status are locked until the trade offer is accepted or expired.
